For modifications and other specialty containers, please contact or email a representative. - How much space is required for delivery?
For a 20’ container you will need at least 60 feet of straight line clearance.
For a 40’ container you will need at least 110 feet of straight line clearance.
The width requirement is 12 feet, for an easy and safe delivery.

 - How is the container delivered?
The driver will back into the area, raise his trailer up approximately 15 feet in the air, as he moves the truck forward the container will slide off the back of the trailer onto the ground.
The driver will need to pull straight out from under the container. - Is there any ground or site preparation needed?
We ask that before taking possession of your storage container you consider the following points:
-We can drop a container on any of the following surfaces: Pavement, Concrete, Gravel roads, we can deliver on dirt provided the ground is not too soft. We can also deliver on grass, again provided it’s not too soft. Once the container is picked up, the area in which the container was positioned will be dead grass. ATS will not accept any responsibility for dead grass or tire marks on the grass made by the truck.
-Make sure the delivery area is free of obstacles as well as the area in front of and around the final drop position of container.
-There is no need to sit the container on elevated concrete, wood or railroad ties. However, if you prefer to do so, we will do our best to accommodate you. - Container is frozen solid in ice and snow, and I would like to end the lease?
ATS will not attempt to pick up the container if it is surrounded by snow or frozen in ice. To avoid dead run transport charges, we can arrange stop billing of the monthly rental provided the situation is discussed with one of our customer service agents. - What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is one month. - What type of modifications is ATS capable of?
- We can do almost anything to a container, our staff has numerous years of experience in container modifications.
A few examples are: custom paint jobs, windows, doors, insulation, partitions, steel retention pans, cut down containers to custom sizes, electrical, plumbing etc.
- What condition are the “used containers” in?
- All of our used containers are in cargo worthy condition, wind and water tight as well as structurally sound.
- How is my padlock protected?
- All of our rental units come equipped with a standard secure lock box made from high strength steel. The lock box protects your lock from being tampered with.
- What colors are the containers?
- The majority of our used containers are reddish-brown, our new containers are dark grey. As seen in the below photos.

- Are the containers weather proof?
- Yes, we guarantee that all our containers are weatherproof.
- What are the payment terms?
- Payment terms for first time purchases are C.O.D., our driver will pick up the cheque upon delivery. We also accept credit card and debit payments prior to delivery.
For lease we offer 30 days, upon credit approval.
